Keith Urban / Lady Antebellum concert

On Thursday night we went to see Keith Urban in concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

I was so excited because the support act was Lady Antebellum, who I love! They are such great musicians and sounded just as good singing live as they do on their CD!

We had great seats, only 9 rows up in the stands.

I took 425 photos... and have whittled those down to 74 that I've posted on here.

Get ready for a photo-heavy post- it's gonna be a long one!

Lady Antebellum opening for Keith Urban:

Playing up the back for those in the stands:

Singing The Eagles classic "Seven Bridges Road" with Lady Antebellum:

Making an appearance up the back in the crowd, where he signed and gave away the guitar he was playing!

And then got back on stage and played this super-cool light up guitar that changed colours!

The finale... with confetti of course.

So much fun! Such a great musician and entertainer! And Aussie to boot!

Neglect

So I have been very neglectful of this little blog- I had lots of inspiration but then last week I got sick with an awful cold/ stomach bug and it just threw a spanner in the works.

Then I had a big assignment due so... that explains the last couple of days.

And now, I'm housesitting and watching a lot of Private Practice while researching an essay about including students with intellectual disability in the regular classroom... and so I have time to blog and let you know what I've been up to!

Which is- watching a lot of tv, going to uni, working, and reading a lot of educational journal articles.

Oh, and getting excited about graduating in less than three months! I'm already dreaming about decorating my classroom- lovely stationery and wall displays. I get giddy just thinking about it.

My little Year 5 class is not going to know what hit it :)
