These are a few of my favourite things

A few of my favourite things about Singapore:

1. Air conditioning. Everywhere. All the time. So glad.

2. Fast public transport. After my experiences with Sydney trains, the Singapore MRT train system is AMAZING. Efficient, reliable, on time, and air-conditioned!

3. Orchard Road and all the amazing retail therapy it offers. 2 kilometres of shops galore? Yes please!

4. Being able to walk everywhere. Singapore is such a tiny island that almost everything is accessible on foot.

5. Cheap taxis. It's like $10 to go most places.

6. The cleanliness of the city. Seriously the streets and restaurants and shops are meticulously clean.

7. The people. Everyone is nice and polite here (even if they don't always understand your question because of your foreign accent!)

8. The abundance of different stores from different countries, all in one place. H&M and Marks & Spencer from England, Forever 21 and The Gap from America. LOVE.

9. Shops that don't close until 11 o'clock at night. Unheard of in old Sydney town.

10. Pure Vanilla Iced Blended drinks from The Coffee Bean. The first thing I want to get when I walk off the plane.
